Join us in celebrating Mother's Day with Adele Tetangco, a mother of two and the founder of numerous creative endeavors. Recently, Adele took us on a tour of her studio, snack size, a brand-focused creative agency.

During the tour, her children, Jayme and Cielo, had the opportunity to ask her some hard-hitting questions. Adele showcased her favourite pieces from our collections and gave us a glimpse into her unique sense of style.

A true pioneer in the e-commerce industry, Adele co-founded Garmentory and made a name for herself with her strong, yet comfortable creative direction and eye-catching brand strategy. She wears her favourites from SS23 MARNI, Pomandere, Acne Studios, Clergerie, and many more.

Jayme — What’s you makes you different than other moms?

Being a teen mom definitely made me a different mom. I was so young and had a different way of interacting with you. So it made our relationship unique, better even (than others).

Cielo — Is being a mom hard?

No, I don’t think so. I think it’s fun, and I love having a buddy to do things with all of the time.

Jayme — What’s your happiest memory of us?

I think just going for walks and exploring together. Whether it be at Value Village or in Jamaica and doing excursions. Riding our bikes in the summer time. Watching movies all day and not doing anything. So I guess everything.

ADELE WEARS THE RACHEL COMEY FRESCO DRESS.

Jayme — I always steal clothes from your closet, is there anything you’d steal from mine?

I like everything that you have… but think it would look so different on my body! I’d steal your body!

Jayme — What’s the worst and best parts about us getting older?

Best parts are becoming more confident with who I am. Worst parts are watching my kids get older and more independent, even though it’s a good thing.

Cielo — Who’s your favourite child?

The rabbit.

Jayme — What do you want or wish most for your kids? AND yourself.

I wish for my kids to be strong-willed while being empathetic with their opinions and values. I wish the same thing for myself.
