Glerups
Glerups started in 1993 when a Danish couple began felting boots using wool from their own Gotland sheep. The uppers are made from 100% wool, while the soles are made from locally tanned calfskin or natural rubbers. With the sweeping popularity of the charming and simple slippers, the slow manual production of two pairs a day has since been expedited by way of machines, but the resulting product is still the same; beautiful, natural, and warm.
