We recently caught up with Kenny Joh, and his daughter Esther, to ask what he’s got on his wish list and to show off some of our latest arrivals from Beams Plus, Acne Studios, Clarks Originals, Birkenstock and more, just in time for Father's Day!

What are some of your favorite things to do as a family?
Both: Our favorite thing to do together is go to the lake/ park in the summertime and have some good food, barbecue meats and make ramen!!!
Who is the better cook, Esther or Kenny?
Both: Definitely Esther, but Kenny is better at making ramen at home

How would you describe your dad’s style?
Esther: These days dad is loving baggier, loose silhouettes! He loves jeans and a good sweater. He is super chic and casual too.
What are some of your best memories of your dad while growing up?
Esther: Definitely just spending time at home with him and my sisters, my dad has always been able to make us laugh and make us feel happy when we’re down.
Do you have any family traditions?
Both: We don’t have many traditions, maybe it's because we are in between cultures. I guess our traditions would be having dinner together as a family on weekends!
What has been your most memorable family trip?
Both: In 2010, we visited Korea and spent 3 months there. It was awesome to visit family members!

What do you love most about your dad?
Esther: I love that he is himself, still finding himself and enjoying aging, he’s doing it so well. I am very inspired by him.
What do you love most about Esther? Or what are you most proud of?
Kenny: I love that she jumps into anything, she is always willing to hang out with me and dance together. I'm also proud of her confidence and how she carries herself.

What is the soundtrack to a family road trip?
Both: A Joh family classic is Alan Jackson. Or any random cd’s we have in our car. Dad will always have throwback tunes for us to listen to, ones he used to listen to when he was younger in Korea.

Kenny: Core thorn necklace, Dr. Martens made in England 1461 NBHD, Ami de Coeur Cardigan
