Founded in 2017, Norway-based Sleepers created a line of silky-feeling sandals that were made of natural rubber instead of plastic. Sleepers ethically sources their rubber from Sri Lankan rubber tappers and tries to reduce their carbon footprint by minimally transporting their materials, keeping their entire production process within Sri Lanka. Beyond environmental ethics, Sleepers ensures fair working conditions and benefits for workers, partnering with The Fair Rubber Association. Functional, comfortable and fashionable, Sleepers are an eco-conscious alternative to fast-fashion flip flops.
