A Hope Hemp

Founded in 1998 by Stay Gold Company, this premium Japanese sock brand was created with the goal to utilize hemp as a cotton alternative and to spread the use of hemp-based fabrics. A Hope Hemp began with making t-shirts but they took the leap into manufacturing sock in 2002, making them the first Hemp cotton socks to be sold in Japan. Their socks are created on a vintage threading machine hand operated by artisans in Nara, Japan.
