Trippen

Avant-guard but extremely wearable, Trippen's handmade footwear combines craftsmanship, comfort, and architectural style for their distinctive collections. Beginning in the early 1990’s, designers Angela Speith and Michael Oehler set out to create a sustainable footwear collection inspired by a series of vintage wooden soles that they found in an old factory. Trippen began a legacy of bold design, high quality German production, and premium environmentally-conscious materials, creating the best possible shoes with the lightest possible footprint.

Trippen has developed its own unique style that has nothing in common with traditional shoe patterns. Each season, Trippen designs new uppers for their iconic collections, searching for new design ideas through constant experimentation and creative play. Rather than following short-lived trends, Trippen's boundless creative expression has inspired their signature aesthetic language, an interplay between restraint and creativity. They have designed numerous iconic shoe collections including Closed, Cup, Penna, X+OS, Happy, Box, Sport, and Wood.

Trippen has always remained true to their core values of modern design combined with environmental friendliness, sustainability, and social responsibility.
